tendonitis - any tips for playing ? 3 Replies

I seem to have tendonitis - swelling and pain and inflexibility - in the outermost joints of my index fingers.  Does anyone have any tips that aren't "stop playing the recorder"?  I have been trying…Continue

"Yes, that’s not the Lasocki one. While the Dover translation of the 1707 Method is, well, a translation, Lasocki adds additional 20 page scholarly insight in his intro, along with stylistic explanations and lists of all of Hotteterre’s…"

"Well, it's a good thing you said that, although I'm not sure when an imposter is an imposter. Dover publications is pretty well-known for republishing old works, especially books about music. Their version of "Principles of the Flute,…"

"Thanks for the tip, Christopher. The best thing is that I can become an oboe player too! ;) I see that it is available new from Dover publications in an inexpensive ($10) soft cover edition. So it is readily available."
